Mary Brewster is an artist based in the depths of mid-Suffolk at Old Newton, not far from Stowmarket.
Mary studied at Southend School of Art, followed by a career in commercial art & design. Family to see a small sample of her portfolio, click → 
commitments took her abroad for several years. Returning to England, she created classes for both
West Suffolk & Suffolk Colleges, retiring officially in 2002. She now teaches privately in her studio
in her garden, where the surrounding views and wild-life help her to study nature & the seasons.
Mary uses many techniques & materials in her work. Although she has an interest in a wide
range of subjects, she has a special love of nature and small animals, especially the Hare.
Mary has exhibited at the Mall Gallery in London, and all over Suffolk & Norfolk. Her work has
historically been quite diverse, but recent work often features countryside-inspired subjects.
Originals are available, or Giclée-style limited-edition prints on canvas / high-quality paper.
